Position: Free Store Production
Position Description: Volunteers will sort, inspect, and organize donated items to stock the Free Store, which provides families in our community with essentials at no charge.
This is a community-facing opportunity, and we are excited to welcome volunteers of all ages! The Free Store Production role is perfect for large groups (up to 60 people), making it a great team-building opportunity. Volunteers ages 10 and up are welcome to participate (those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).

Tuesday to Saturday
9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Position: Customer Assistance Volunteer
Position Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer to join our team and assist customers in navigating online resources to apply for community services that support financial stability. This is a wonderful opportunity to directly impact individuals by helping them access essential services.
Role Overview:
The volunteer will work one-on-one with customers to guide them through the process of identifying and applying for services and benefits that can help them achieve financial stability. This includes using computer-based tools, assisting with online applications, and offering community referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly greet customers, provide clear instructions, and respond to all questions
Offer community referrals to assist customers in achieving financial stability
Help customers access their personal online email and upload/attach documents to applications as needed
Provide detailed instructions on next steps to monitor the status of applications
Maintain a log of the number of customers assisted and types of applications submitted
Commitment:
We ask that volunteers dedicate one reoccurring day per week (Monday through Saturday) from 10 AM to 12 PM to help customers register for community services they may be eligible for.
Training:
A one-to-one meeting with our Volunteer Coordinator will be scheduled to learn more about the role and get started.
