Mission: Over the Chessboard believes everyone can learn to play and excel at chess. We use chess as a tool to promote education, leadership and respect. We especially focus on girls since they currently represent only 10% of U.S. tournament players.

Position: Volunteer/Internship Opportunity - Chess Instructor

Part Time/ $30 per hour. Pay rate increases based on performance starting second semester.

Transportation Required

Position Description: Teaching Chess 5 hrs. per week each semester at different schools around the greater Charlotte area, including Davidson

Training and materials are provided
Must know chess basics (OTCB will teach you the rest)
