Position: Volunteer-The Mint Museum Grier Heights After-School Program
Location: Charlotte, NC
Position Description: The Mint Museum is seeking dedicated volunteers to support our Grier Heights After-School Program, beginning Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The Grier Heights Community Youth Arts Program helps participants to build self-esteem, develop self and mutual respect, make wise life choices, strive for excellence, exercise healthy life skills, and realize the importance of becoming great through service. We are looking for individuals who can bring their educational experience, patience, and commitment to this 35-week role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with students during program hours.
Support educational activities and enrichment projects.
Serve as a positive role model and mentor.
Ideal Candidates:
Students, educators, or community members with an educational background or experience working with youth.
Individuals able to commit consistently to the program schedule.
Volunteers who are dependable, proactive, and passionate about supporting young learners.
