Position: Social Media Intern (Part-Time)
Location: Hybrid, or in Davidson, Cornelius, or Huntersville, NC area
Position Description: We’re seeking a creative and organized Social Media Intern to help us amplify our voice online. This intern will play a key role in planning and scheduling posts, capturing content at events, and growing our engagement across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create and schedule engaging social media posts that reflect our mission and values
Attend and capture photos/videos from events (occasional evenings/weekends)
Support content creation including graphics, reels, and stories
Track engagement and suggest strategies to grow our reach
Stay up to date on social media trends relevant to nonprofits and DEI work
Qualifications and Skills:
Passion for social justice, equity, and inclusion
Experience with social media platforms and basic graphic/video tools (e.g. Canva, CapCut)
Strong written communication and storytelling skills
Highly organized and able to work independently
Photography or videography experience a plus

Position: Engagement Intern (Part-Time)

Position Description: We’re seeking a proactive and people-oriented Engagement Intern to support outreach, marketing, and relationship-building efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with new audiences, growing partnerships, and helping a mission-driven organization expand its reach.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct outreach to community groups, schools, businesses, and partner organizations to promote events and services
Make cold calls and send outreach emails to book meetings with potential partners and clients
Help maintain and organize our contact database, outreach tracking, and follow-up communication
Support the planning and execution of engagement campaigns, such as volunteer drives, special events, or giving days
Assist in marketing efforts, including writing outreach messages, updating promotional materials, and coordinating with the social media team
Represent the organization at events (in-person or virtual), helping welcome participants and gather feedback
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident reaching out via phone, email, and in person
Strong interest in DEI and community-based work
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Experience with cold calling, community organizing, marketing, or sales a plus
