Position: Blood Donor Ambassador
Position Description: Blood Donor Ambassador volunteers are critically important to creating and ensuring an overall positive donation experience at Red Cross blood drives (mobile drives and fixed sites). Blood Donor Ambassador volunteers greet donors, answer questions, and help out in our canteen/snack area. This position is ongoing – volunteers can use our scheduling app to identify mobile or fixed-site blood drives with volunteer needs and sign up as best fits their schedule. Mobile drives occur throughout the county and we have fixed site locations in Charlotte (Park Road), Rock Hill, and Huntersville.
Time Commitment: The preferred commitment is a minimum of 6 hours/month (which is typically 1-2 shifts per month). This is a flexible opportunity where volunteers can sign up for shifts online that work with their schedule.
