Opportunities

Position: Volunteer Tutor

Position Description: Thank you for your interest in Helping Education! By joining us as a volunteer tutor over Zoom, every half-hour you donate each week will provide an elementary school student with one-on-one, research-supported literacy support. All lessons are pre-planned and scripted, so that you can focus on encouraging your student while knowing that they are getting the reading support they need.

Becoming a Virtual Tutor

Zoom-based trainings are available as soon as Friday, April 12 @ 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM (EST).

We know also that time is a precious resource – an alternate, self-paced training option is always available to support incoming tutors' busy schedules.

The training opportunity you choose will prepare you with the skills you need to carry out a year’s worth of tutoring sessions. To learn more about our tutoring opportunities and to register to become a trained virtual tutor, we hope you will visit our registration page at your convenience.
