Position: Lab Assistant for Upper School Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science
Position Description: Community School of Davidson (Upper School) seeks an intern as a lab assistant for the science department. Duties include lab prep, including mixing solutions, preparing agar plates, and general lab prep, as well as assisting students in upper level labs and supporting teacher instruction. A background in chemistry is helpful (high school chem or college level) and an interest in science education is necessary.
This position would require 5 – 10 hours per week (based on intern’s availability). Hours and days are flexible between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm.
