Davidson Community Foundation
Mission: To enhance the lives of residents of Davidson, now and for generations to come, by working with local leaders and donors to build and deploy a community fund to address Davidson’s most pressing needs. This volunteer-driven initiative is designed to substantially expand local philanthropy and direct it to where it’s most needed.

Position: Communications Intern
Position Description: The Davidson Community Foundation was established in early 2020 by a committed group of community leaders who wanted to support local organizations that are working to meet town-specific opportunities and challenges. The board includes many town activists. Starting as soon as possible, we would love to have someone help us improve our new website by posting content (that we've already written) and photographs. If feasible, we'd also like assistance with small writing projects and/or short video interviews. The student would work closely with Jeri Krentz, the board member in charge of communications. We would be happy with short- or long-term assistance. The website was designed to use WordPress.
