Position: Volunteer Opportunity
Position Description:
Volunteer opportunity with the Town of Davidson Sustainability Department. The volunteer in this position will support the Town Sustainability Manager with Climate Action Plan implementation and reporting. This could include any of the following:
Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data for the Climate Action Plan Annual Report (including fleet data, building energy use, and waste data)
Assisting with coordination and implementation of sustainability initiatives within the community (including Leave the Leaves and the Plastic Free Challenge)
Assisting with research relating to sustainability projects such as rooftop solar and electric vehicle charging stations
Assisting with planning events and other one-time activities such as the Town Earth Day Festival.
There are so many opportunities for this volunteer to help advance sustainability within the Town of Davidson!
Time Commitment:
In Person
Preferred commitment is a minimum of 8-hours per week.
Flexible scheduling options within the hours of Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm
