Positions: Organizing Fellow - Charlotte & Social Media and Storytelling Fellow - Charlotte
Position Description: Our Turn’s Youth Power Fellowship application is open for the 2023-2024 school year! We’d love for you to apply or share the opportunity with young people who are passionate about education justice and are ready to take action. During the Fellow Program, students engage in various training, skill building, political education, and professional development sessions.
When: Sept 2023 - May 2024
Hours: 5-10 hrs/wk
Pay: $17/hr
Who is Eligible: Open to youth 16-24 yrs old
The Youth Power Fellow Fellowship develops students into grassroots organizers and leaders who fight for educational justice in their communities. Students have long been left out of conversations around what they are being taught in schools, new policies impacting their districts, and more.
At Our Turn, we believe that students, as the closest stakeholders to these issues, are also closest to the solutions.
