1. Adding Subscription when Processing Order in Shopify
When you process an order in Shopify, you need to input the subscription in Recharge.
All subscription changes (updates, pauses, cancellations, etc.) must be done directly in Recharge, not Shopify.
2. Cancel Subscription in Recharge
Step 1: Go to Actions
Step 2: Click Cancel Subscription
Step 3: Select the Reason for cancellation
✅ Tip: Always verify the subscription status after cancellation to ensure it is properly updated.
Step 1: Go to the Subscription
Step 2: Add a New Address
Step 3: Select the Payment Method associated with the subscription
Step 4: Input the New Shipping Address
Step 5: Click Add Address to save
✅ Tip: Always verify that the new address is applied to the correct subscription to avoid shipping errors.
Part 1: Create the Discount Code
Step 1: Go to Recharge
Step 2: Click the dropdown on the right panel → select Discounts
Step 3: Click “Create Discount Code” (upper right corner)
Step 4: Enter a Discount Code Name
Step 5: Select Discount Type → Percentage
Step 6: Enter 20%
Step 7: Choose where to apply:
All products, or
Specific product(s)
Step 8: Under Channel Control, select Merchant Portal Only (uncheck others)
Step 9: Set Application Limit (if applicable)
Step 10: Set the Expiration Date
Step 11: Click Create Discount
Step 12: Copy the generated Discount Code
Step 13: Click Save
Part 2: Apply the Discount to the Order
Step 14: Go to the Recharge Order main page
Step 15: Under the Address section, find the “No Discount” label
Step 16: Click it and paste the Discount Code
