Characters:
Danny the Dog
Ricky the RabbitÂ
(Danny the Dog is walking near a pond and notices his reflection.)
Danny: (excitedly) Hey, look at that shiny dog in the water! I wonder who it is.
(Ricky the Rabbit hops by and sees Danny.)
Ricky: Hi Danny! What are you so happy about?
Danny: (pointing to the reflection) Look, Ricky! There's another dog in the water. I'm going to say hi!
Ricky: (smirking) That's your reflection, Danny. It won't say hi back.
(Danny looks closer at the reflection and sees a bone in its mouth.)
Danny: (greedily) Oh, there's a bone! I want that bone.
(Danny decides to grab the bone from the reflection, but it disappears when he reaches the water.)
Danny: (confused) Where did the bone go?
Ricky: (laughing) Danny, it was just a reflection. You can't grab things from it. You see, Danny, the fable teaches us not to be greedy and appreciate what we have.
Danny: (reflecting) You're right, Ricky. I should be grateful for the things I already have. Thanks for teaching me a valuable lesson, Ricky.
Ricky: Anytime, Danny. Friends help each other, and sometimes they teach important lessons too.
