The Lion and The Fox

Fox

[Lion puppet lies inside a cave, looking weak.]

Lion (softly, calling out): Fox, come visit me… I am not feeling well.

[Fox approaches slowly, stopping near the cave entrance.]

Fox (carefully, looking at the ground): I see many footprints leading inside…

[Fox leans closer, examining.]

Fox (thoughtfully): …but none leading out.

[Lion shifts slightly.]

Lion (urging): Come closer, Fox. I mean you no harm.

[Fox steps back.]

Fox (firmly): I will not enter.

[Fox turns away.]

Fox: It is wise to notice danger before it is too late.
