Fox (cheerfully, waving tail): Hello, Stork! Come, let’s share a meal together.
[Stork puppet glides in gracefully, landing nearby.]
Stork (kindly, bowing head slightly): Thank you, Fox. That is very thoughtful of you.
[Fox puppet gestures toward the shallow plate.]
Fox (proudly, hopping slightly): Here is some food for you!
[Stork puppet tries to eat from the shallow plate, but can’t reach properly.]
Stork (struggling, tilting head): Oh… I cannot reach the food with my beak.
[Fox puppet laughs lightly.]
Fox (friendly, shrugging): Perhaps I should have thought of that!
[Time passes—Stork puppet flaps wings, smiling.]
Stork (calmly, stepping aside): Next time, I will invite you to my home.
[Fox puppet tilts head curiously.]
Fox (intrigued, stepping closer): Your home?
[Stork puppet spreads wings, lifting a tall, narrow vase or container.]
Stork (smiling, gesturing to vase): Yes! I eat best from this. Come and share a meal, friend Fox.
[Fox puppet tries to reach in but can’t, tilts head, then laughs.]
Fox (happily, nodding): Ah! Now I understand!
[Both puppets nod at each other, smiling.]
Stork (final line): True friendship respects differences and helps each other.
