[Fox puppet sneaks onto the screen, moving low and slyly.]
Fox (smiling, stepping closer): Hello, Crow! What a beautiful voice you have!
[Crow tilts head, curious.]
Crow (proudly, puffing chest): Why, thank you, Fox! I do pride myself on my singing.
Fox (flattering, stepping closer): I’ve heard you are the finest singer in the forest. Could you sing me a song? I would love to hear it!
[Crow puppet thinks, then slowly opens beak.]
Crow (excited, ready to sing): Oh! I’d be happy to!
[Crow “sings,” opening beak wide, and the cheese puppet drops slightly.]
[Fox puppet quickly steps forward and grabs the cheese.]
Fox (grinning, holding cheese): Thank you for the cheese, Crow! Your song is… delightful.
[Crow puppet looks shocked, wings flapping in frustration.]
Crow (angrily, hopping back and forth): Oh no! I’ve been tricked!
[Fox puppet trots away confidently, waving the cheese.]
Fox (calling back): A clever tongue can win what strength cannot!
[Crow puppet sighs, settling back on the branch.]
Crow (final line, shaking head): Flattery can hide a trick. Be wary of praise.
