Little Fish
[Fisherman puppet stands at the edge of the screen with a fishing rod.]
Fisherman (cheerfully, rocking back and forth): Ah, a perfect day for fishing! Maybe I’ll catch something big today.
[Little Fish puppet wiggles onto the screen, swimming near the “water’s surface.”]
Little Fish (nervously, flapping tail): Oh no! That hook looks dangerous!
[Fisherman puppet leans forward, “reeling in” slowly.]
Fisherman (excitedly): Got you! I’ve caught a fish!
[Little Fish puppet wiggles frantically.]
Little Fish (pleading, flipping side to side): Please, Fisherman! I’m so small…Let me go, and I promise to grow bigger!
[Fisherman puppet tilts head, thinking, holding rod still.]
Fisherman (thoughtfully, rocking slowly): Hmm… you are very tiny. If I let you go now, maybe next time I’ll catch you when you’re bigger.
[Little Fish puppet wiggles happily, tail splashing.]
Little Fish (grateful, bouncing in “water”): Thank you, Fisherman! I’ll grow fast and strong!
[Fisherman puppet slowly reels rod back, smiling, letting Little Fish “swim away.”]
Fisherman (cheerfully): Patience brings greater reward than haste.
[Little Fish puppet swims off happily, Fisherman watches contentedly.]
Fisherman (final line): Spare the small, and the future may be greater.
