JIRA tickets are represented by synchronized requirements in Squash TM. These requirements will be displayed in grey in the tree view of the requirements.
Moreover, they have two more pieces of information, compared to a native requirement :
A hyperlink to the original JIRA tickets
A synchronization status, which enables the user to be warned if the communication between Squash TM and JIRA was interrupted, or if an error occured during the last update process.
You may edit the value of the synchronized requirements attributes in Squash TM, but the plug-in will then overwrite the modifications as soon as the original JIRA ticket will be updated.
Consequently, it is not recommanded to edit the value of the synchronized requirements attributes in Squash TM.
The value of the synchronized requirements attributes ( fields that do not have any setup equivalence within the synchronization, see section 3.3.2 ) are not affected by updates and may be edited in the long term in Squash TM.
Synchronized requirements may be linked to other Squash TM items, and this way, behave like native requirements. For example, they may be directly covered by test cases, be visible in reports, be linked to other requirements, etc.
