A new documentation is available for Squash TM 2.0 and later versions, check it here
Click on [Create a new version] in the requirement consultation page toolbar. A pop-up window asking you to confirm the action opens up:
Focus
When the 'Copy links between different versions of requirement which are still in use' box is ticked, existing links with other requirements are kept for the new version.
When the 'Posponed the test cases attached to the new version of this requirement' box is ticked, test cases that were linked to the previous requirement version are now linked to the new version (but are not linked anymore to the previous version).
2. Click on [Ok]: a new requirement version will be created and be used as the current version.
3. Squash returns to the consultation page of the requirement, where the requirement has a new version number in the dedicated field of the General Information unit.
The link [View version history] opens an interface of level 2, in which the user can consult the version history, as well as all changes made on each requirement version.
