Plugins are versioned using a major.minor.micro.qualifier pattern. Generally speaking, a change of minor version means a compatibility break. The plugin uses features which were not available in older versions of Squash TM. A change of micro version usually means bugs are fixed, and the plugin remains compatible with older versions of Squash TM.
