Prerequisite: A test case was already created.
Select the test case for which you want to create a script.
On the test case consultation page, click on [Script].
Click on [Add a Step]. A pop-up window "Add a Test step" opens up.
Complete the rich editor fields, click on:
[Add], to come back in the Script tab refreshed page.
[Add another], to add another step directly without turning back to the steps table.
[Cancel], to stop the operation.
FOCUS: Mandatory field
It is mandatory to fill in the "Actions" field. If not, the step is not created.
Via the steps table, you can modify the fields "Actions" and "Expected Results".
Click on the field you want to change.
Click on [Confirm] to save the change or on [Cancel] to stop the operation and come back to the last saved step.
You can organize the created steps by changing their position:
Click on the step sequence number in the left part of the table. The selected Step line is coloured in darker green.
Once selected, the step can be moved by drag and drop. The step sequence number is automatically refreshed.
You can choose where to create your new step, for example, you can create and insert a new step between two that already exist :
Click on a step which was already created (the one you want to precede your new step)
Click on [+ Add a Step]
Complete the rich editor fields, click on [Add]
Your new step is created just after the one you selected at first
