4.14 - Bind / Unbind milestones to test cases

This feature allows to bind or unbind a milestone that has been previously bind to the project with the test case in question.

4.14.1 Bind a milestone to a test case

Prerequisite: Milestones must be in 'Active' status

• 1. Select the test case you want to bind to

  2. Click on the 'Milestone' tab

  3. Click on the [+] button. A pop-up 'Choose milestone(s) to bind to test case' opens :

• • • Select the milestones to bind to

    • Click on the [Confirm] button

4.14.2 Unbind a milestone to a test case

• 1. Select the test case you want to unbind

  2. Click on the 'Milestone' tab

  3. Select the milestone(s) you want to unbind and click on the [-] button

  4. Click on the [Confirm] button

FOCUS

The disassociation can be performed in a unitary manner by clicking the [-] button located at the end of the milestone to disassociate.

4.14.3 Create a test case in 'Milestone mode'

The creation of a test case in a project in 'Milestone mode', automatically associates the requirement to the test case that has been selected for the 'Milestone mode' for this, please follow these steps:

Prerequisite: Milestones must be in 'Active' status and the 'Milestone mode' must have been chosen in the library (2.01 - Library functions)

1. Reach the test case workspace.

2. Select a project, a folder, or a sub-folder by clicking on the element’s name. This one will be highlighted.

3. Click on the button [Create] in the library toolbar . A drop down menu is unrolling. Click on the link [New test case...]:

4. A pop-up « Add a Test Case » in which you can fill in different fields is displayed. The field "Name" is the only mandatory field.

5. Click on the button [Add] if you want to add only one test case or click on [Add another] if you want to add several test cases at the same time.

6. The new test case is displayed in the project’s tree structure under the previous branch yet created in the project. In order to organize the test cases in alphabetical order, it is necessary to refresh the page using the keyboard button [F5]. The test case is automatically bound to the milestone selected for the 'Milestone mode'.
