5.08 - Bind and unbind milestones to Campaigns

This feature enables you to bind or unbind a milestone that has been previously bound to the project with the campaign question.

3.7.1 Bind a milestone to a campaign

Prerequisite: The milestones must be 'Active'

• 1. Select the campaign you want to work with

  2. Click on 'Milestone'

  3. Click on [+]. A pop-up window 'Choose a milestone to bind to the campaign' opens :

• • • Select the milestones you wish to bind to the campaign

    • Click on [Confirm]

FOCUS

Creation of iteration or test binds automatically milestones associated with the campaign to them.

3.7.2 Unbind a milestone to a campaign

• 1. Select the campaign you want to work with

  2. Click on 'Milestone'

  3. Select the milestone(s) you want to unbind and click on [-]

  4. Click on [Confirm]

FOCUS

The disassociation can be performed in a unitary manner by clicking the [-] button located at the end of the milestone to disassociate.

3.7.3 Create a campaign in 'Milestone mode'

The creation of a campaign in 'Milestone mode', automatically associates the campagn to the milestone that has been selected for the 'Milestone mode'. To do so, you need to follow these steps:

Prerequisite: Milestones must be 'Active', and the 'Milestone mode' must have been chosen in the library (2.01 - Library functions)

1. Go to the Campaign workspace.

2. Select a project, a folder, or a sub-folder by clicking on the element’s name. This one will be highlighted.

3. Click on [Create] in the library toolbar . A drop down menu unfolds. Click on [New campaign...]:

4. A pop-up window « Add a Campaign » in which you can fill in different fields is displayed. The field "Name" is the only mandatory field.

5. Click on [Add] if you want to add only one campaign or click on [Add another] if you want to add several campaigns at once.

6. The new campaign is displayed in the project’s tree structure under the previous branch you just created in the project. In order to organize the campaigns in alphabetical order, it is necessary to refresh the page using [F5]. The campaign is automatically bound to the milestone selected for the 'Milestone mode'.
