5.03 - Campaign/Iteration/Test suite toolbar

Seven buttons [Create], [Copy], [Paste], [Rename], [Export], [Search] and [Remove] are displayed in the toolbar of the campaign consultation page, the iteration consultation page and the test suite consultation page. The use of both buttons [Rename] and [Remove] is detailed here.

The iteration toolbar enables you to create a test suite, which is detailed here.

The test suite toolbar enables you to start an execution or duplicate a test suite.

5.3.1 Button [Export]

Since the version 1.6.0 RELEASE of SQUASH TM, you can export a campaign in csv file.

Campaign export procedure for Squash TM 1.6.0 :

Prerequisite: A campaign was already created.

  1. Select the campaign in the tree structure you want to export. Its name is highlighted.

  2. Click on [Export].

  3. Select the Light, Standard or Full campaign export

  4. The created file is: Campaign'sNameYYYYMMDDhhmmss.csv

5.3.2 Start a test suite/iteration

Test suites enable you to execute a test case in line.

Test cases can also be done one by one. In this case, the procedure is the same as in the test case execution from an iteration test plan (detailed here).

Prerequisite: A test suite with associated test case is created.

  1. Click on the test suite name in the tree structure

  2. Click on [Start]

  3. Choose in the drop down menu between "with OER" or "with pop-up".

  4. The test suite execution in line follows the simple execution.

FOCUS

At each new test case, click on the button [Begin] in the pop-up.

Test cases without step inside are not taken in charge in the test suite execution.

5.3.3 Run once more a test suite/iteration

When the user stops an execution even though there remains no executed steps, it is possible to run once again the test suite.

In the test suite consultation page, [Resume] is displayed instead of [Start] .

  1. Click on [Resume] .

  2. Choose between "With OER" or "With pop-up".

  3. The step where the user has stopped is displayed in the execution pop-up window.

5.3.4 Restart a test suite/iteration

If the execution has been run at least one time, [Restart] is displayed on the test suite consultation page.

It runs once more the test suite, removing all previous executions.

  1. Click on [Restart] .

  2. Choose between "With OER" or "With pop-up".

  3. A message indicates that all the previous execution will be removed. Click on [Ok]. The execution follows the simple execution.

5.3.5 Duplicate a test suite

[Duplicate] in the test suite consultation page toolbar enables the making of a copy/paste of the suite in the tree structure.
