Permissions Management in Squash TM is defined by groups and profiles.
Groups are defined by users. There are 3 different groups:
Administrator: the administrator has an unlimited access to all projects and the administration interface.
Test Automation Server: only used to configure TM-TA link
User: a user logged in Squash TM will only get access to the projects he has been allowed to, with a profile.
Profiles are given to each user on every project he is allowed to access. There are 8 profiles:
Project Leader,
Test Referee,
Test Designer,
Validator,
Advanced Tester,
Test Runner,
Guest
Automated Test Writer (Automation Workspace).
Each profile grants the user with different rights. There are 5 kinds of rights represented by these following icons:
