The test case workspace is reachable via the navigation bar.

It displays all the actions related to the test case administration.

Test Cases Workspace

Library

The test case library is composed of a tree structure, two tabs and six buttons (detailed here).

The tree structure displays the projects. By clicking on the arrow in front of the projects (or by double-clicking on the item), the user unfolds the folder/file.

The [Library] tab opens the tree structure.

In the tree structure, two kinds of icons are juxtaposed before the reference and the label of each Test Case.

Tree structure

These specific icons change depending on :

    • The status of the Test Case

    • The importance of the Test case

    • Whether associated Requirements exist or not

    • Whether associate Test Step exist or not

Whatever might be the icon, a mouseover over a Test Case opens a tooltip indicating the nature and value of given information such as : [Status : Work in progress]-[Importance : Hight]-[Req. : yes]-[Has steps].

The [Search] tab opens a search pop-up window (detailed here).

Test cases are organized in the tree structure following their reference first, and then their name.

Consultation page

The right part of the test case page displays all information about the selected test case (a chapter is dedicated to it).
