Common Groundhopper - Tetrix undulata

Habitat: Bare areas of soil in eg woods, heaths, gardens

Size: 10mm

Species account: This is the commonest of the three groundhopper species in the UK, and can be instantly distinguished by having the thoracic plate stopping before the tip of the abdomen. The colouration is variable, but is generally a mixture of browns and whites.
