Epeolus cruciger

Habitat: Heaths, moors and coastal areas where the hosts (Colletes succinctus and Colletes marginatus) are found.

Size: 5-9mm

Species account: The scarcer of the two Epeolus species in the UK, although still fairly common in the right habitats. Very similar to E.variegatus, see that species page for differences.
