Andrena bicolor

Species account: A small species, Andrena bicolor has two distinct flight periods, from March to May and from late June to August. Females are distinguished by their small size, and a combination of black hairs on the face, rusty thorax and brown scopae. Males share the black hairs on the face, distinguishing them from other species.
