When I played baseball, one of my favorite signs to get as a hitter was the green light. This means the coach gives you the chance to swing away at the next pitch. I enjoyed that freedom and the opportunity to make something exciting happen. Now, just because I was given the green light doesn't mean that I could swing at anything. I needed to swing at a pitch that I knew I could hit hard. Not one that I would swing at and miss or one that was outside of the strike zone. Even though I had the green light, it was more like the swing if it is exactly what you're looking for.
In mid-December, Allan wrote that we were refining the process of purchasing website subscriptions, apps, and software. If you did not see the Friday Memo from last week, it included our process and guiding questions that will be used to determine whether or not to move forward with a purchase. Here it is as well.
