Starting something new can be intimidating. Over the break between Christmas and the new year I ventured into Minecraft. My 4th grade daughter loves Minecraft. She has the opportunity to create and control her own world. As her world gets more involved so do the characters and challenges she interacts with. Even though I have a natural ability with technology I could not pick up the Xbox controller and join her fun. I needed to allow her to teach me. It was a good experience but also humbling. I may not play Minecraft often, but now I know that I can.
We'll dive into Google Drive and its features around the third trimester of this school year but for now I want to introduce you to Google Drive, or Drive as it'll be referred to going forward. Rather than have you read about Drive here is a YouTube video to get you started. If you're already familiar with Drive I recommend visiting the link below the video. It will take you to the G Suite YouTube Channel which has an extensive playlist of videos on everything Google. G Suite is the umbrella term used to describe all of the tools Google has to offer, Drive being one of them.

If this video sparks an interest to learn more please let me know and I'll be glad to help you start to implement Drive for you, your grade level, and/or your students.
