This session will serve as an introduction to Google Classroom. We'll review how to setup and manage your class and assignments in Google Classroom. We'll review how students will submit assignments and you can grade them as well as other Classroom logistics. You should expect to leave with your Google Classroom setup and ready to share an assignment with your students.

Storyboard that is a powerful visual communication tool that allows students to put their learning or thoughts onto a digital storytelling board. This can be used for students to share their learning on a variety of subjects. This can also be used for students that need a means to communicate their thoughts and feelings. StoryboardThat has an extensive image library and flexible layouts. It is intuitive, simple to use, and supported by Google. The program has teacher resources, lesson plans and examples of storyboards for classes in STEM, English, History, Special Education, and Classroom Management. During this session you will be introduced to StoryboardThat and walked through some examples of how it could be used. You’ll have time to explore and create your own storyboard. All students in both schools have the ability to create content in StoryboardThat.

This session will provide attendees with an overview of SeeSaw and some examples of how it could be used to enhance student learning and parent communication. Time will be give for you to experiment with SeeSaw, ask questions, and create something to take with you. There will be time for more advanced users to share their experience with another to help continue their growth.
This session will introduce attendees to Newsela and help them become more familiar with its features and using it to meet curriculum goals. Articles in Newsela are applicable across the disciplines. This session will reveal all of the magic and equip you to understand all of the Audio/Visual connections from your laptop to your projection device to your speakers. You will leave able to setup your A/V connections and troubleshoot most A/V problems that come your way.
