What is Clever?

Clever is a portal that will connect staff and students to websites without the need to enter login information. Clever's behind the scenes magic uses your Google account credentials to authenticate (verify your identity) with the website you are trying to access. You will login and be up and running just like if you had taken the time to enter your login information. Even better is that Clever creates a dashboard for you with links to all of the websites you have access to through WPS.

Clever will work for all staff and students in grades K-6. For the time being, students in K-1 will only be able to use Clever in the Delaney Computer lab.

Note, not all of our websites and resources utilize Clever. If you don't see a website here that would like to, please email me and we'll see if we can get it connected.

How do I access Clever?

There are links to Clever on our district website. You can either:

• hover over the Students tab and click Clever at the bottom of the drop-down
• scroll to the bottom of the home page and under the Quicklinks section, click Clever

After clicking on the Clever link you'll be directed to a page to determine how to sign-in. Click "Log in with Google".

This will take you to a page where you click on your WPS Google Account

The next screen that appears will show the websites and apps that Clever can help you log into.

• No Login - these websites do not require a login to use, just click on the icon and the website will open
• Auto-Login - these are websites that Clever will automatically log into after you click on them
• You Log in Once - you will need to enter your account into the website after you click on them
