No indoor track?

Indoor track is one of the many great sports offered by Waynesboro High School. Apart from just school, indoor track is a huge sport across the world.  Indoor track is just like actual track but it is done in the winter and is inside. Indoor track is great for spectators as you can see the athletes the whole time unlike cross country. Now that you know indoor track you can see how important it is to our school.  

Many athletes express this same feeling, two being JJ Redifer and Ross WIliamson.  JJ Redifer attended States and Nationals for Waynesboro and she expressed how much she loves the sport. Saying  “Indoor track needs to stay, so many people do it and it's fun for so many people ''. JJ even thought of a way to solve the funding problem saying athletic money should be spread evenly around the sports, not one sport getting more than another”.  Lucky for JJ the loss will not affect her because she is a senior but it will affect Ross.  Ross is a sophomore who had a very good freshman season making it to regionals and placing well. Ross expressed how he will miss indoor track as he never got to fully experience it. Ross says he doesn't feel good about them taking indoor track away because it will remove many opportunities.  

To conclude, Indoor track is a great sport that many people have a great time doing. As well, many athletes from Waynesboro are very good at it with us having multiple state runners.  Indoor track should still be offered to Waynesboro students because we can raise money so more people will get to experience it.
