Tia Miller is a Sophomore in Highschool that plays on the JV Volleyball team for Waynesboro. Tia plays as number 14 on her team and plays Middle back. The middle back is a defense position in the middle back row. They are the ones that usually start off the Volleyball games and they really are important to the team.

Tia listens to music in the locker room with her teammates to get prepared for the game. First she warms up with her team by stretching, then they practice blocking and hitting, and after that they work on passing and setting the ball with a partner. When they're done they either wait until it is 12 minutes on the clock or until it is 6 minutes on the clock. At the end they finish warm ups using the whole court. Sometimes a game can make people nervous, So the way Tia gets rid of her nerves is by assuring herself that she knows what she is doing.
