Meet Mich'Aela

Mich’Aela White is one of our newest members to the journalism team this year at Waynesboro High School. She’s in 10th grade. Mich’Aela is taking journalism because she figured it’d be something fun and new to try since she has not taken journalism before. She does not play sports for the school although she would like to try something new sometime. Her favorite subjects in school at the moment are earth science and journalism. She says they’re both interesting and that she doesn’t get bored easily in these two classes. She’s very excited to be more involved in this class. Some of her favorite things are: seafood, steak, raspberries and sleeping. 

Mich’Aela was born in Fishersville, Virginia. After school, she wants to go to school for psychology, real estate, or cosmetology. Cosmetology is one of the things she has always seen herself doing. She had a sister who came to school here as well but graduated the previous 2022-2023 year.
