Waynesboro high school's homecoming was on the 14th of saturday last weekend. Waynesboro high school has a homecoming and a prom every year. All students were welcome at the homecoming on the 14th if you had good grades and have not been suspended and for students who are on time for class.

Waynesboro High School has a spirit week as well, However this year's spirit week was only 3 days long and the themes were.. Barbie, Thriller and your grade's color. Freshman were black, sophomores white, juniors yellow, and seniors purple. Pep rallies and games were also held. On Wednesday there was unified basketball, Thursday was a volleyball game and Friday was a lip sync battle. Some students thought it was “ Unfair that spirit week was cut short” or “only three days long.” Other students said they “ enjoyed the short week and made spirit week more exciting."

Waynesboro High School is usually very involved and excited for spirit week. Freshman students and seniors especially love to participate in school activities and dances for the last time. Most students “enjoyed homecoming” and thought it was a “ fun experience."
