Atypical is a series on Netflix. The series is about Sam, a teenage boy on the autism spectrum, and his family. He tries to navigate his way through highschool, relationships, and his desire for independence. This series does a really good job at portraying the challenges of individuals with autism. It sheds light on their unique perspectives and experiences. This show has very heartfelt storytelling. Atypical has collected praise for its representation and awareness for people with autism. It’s definitely a show you should watch! The show explores important themes like love, friendship and family dynamics. It’s very delightful to see how Sam’s journey of self-discovery unfolds throughout the series. The characters are very relatable and their performances are fantastic.

The Netflix series Atypical is incredible and it really examines the journey of Sam. It’s a show that explores personal growth for not just Sam, but for his entire family. I really like this show and I watch it everyday, over and over. At first I didn’t like the series, but then I started watching more episodes and it got me hooked. This show definitely gets to my emotions. Sometimes I get mad at the characters, I feel bad for some of the characters, sometimes I'm even embarrassed for the characters due to their actions in the show. My favorite character though has to be Casey, Sam's younger sister. She’s my favorite character because she reminds me of me in a way. She’s not afraid to say what she has to say, loves being petty, and is very funny. She is also finding herself during the series and has discovered she is lesbian. She works hard for what she wants and that is very inspiring. She does everything to protect her brother from bullies and just everything around him. She is a really caring person, especially to those she loves. I think you should watch this show and see how you like it!
