Blue Beetle movie review

This movie is definitely worth the watch. Blue beetle, released on August 18th, 2023 is 

a very  entertaining movie to watch in your free time. It stars Xolo Mariduena, George Lopez, Becky G, Bruna Marquezine, Belissa Escobedo, Adriana Barraza and more!

If you’re looking for good laughs, some sadness, family empowerment, and love, this film is for you. 

The movie takes place in Palmera City. It’s about this young man Jaime ( Xolo Mariduena ) who discovers the blue beetle which is also known as the scarab. After that, he has a life changing experience. Throughout the movie he’s figuring himself out, trying to adapt to the changes happening to his body, understanding his feelings and trying to face life and what gets thrown at him. The whole time he has his family right there going through it with him every step of the way. He also develops feelings for a person whose family invented the scarab. She and him also go through the changes and bad things together, bringing them closer and having a relationship. Even Nana Reyes tags along to be part of the team with everyone. 

Overall, this movie is the perfect entertainment for you, especially if you like DC comics! Blue beetle is also the introduction to the first Latino superhero movie. The actors and actresses did an amazing job putting this together.  Go give it a watch!
