The Boys and Girls Club of Waynesboro offers students with opportunities for leadership

A leadership program was held last Thursday from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rosenwald Community Center. The program allows teens to express their ideas on what Waynesboro could do to provide youths with places to hang out. Not only can you express your opinion but they also provide food and snacks! 

The previous week, we discussed what improvements our community can make in order to make Waynesboro a safer place for youth. We additionally spoke about places in Waynesboro where kids of all ages can have fun. During our spare time, we ate snacks and played games in the game room after we discussed as a group. This after school program is a great chance for the youth to practice their leadership skills.
