New York Jets on the right track?

Do the New York Jets seem to be on the right track this season? Over the past few years, the Jets haven't been as good. Last year, the Jets finished with a 4-13 record, ending the season with a 2-game losing streak and finishing last in their division, with head coach Robert Saleh in his first season at the helm. In previous years, they had kind of the same seasons, with their last decent season coming in 2019, when they went 7-9 and missed the playoffs.

With a record of 5-2, the jets are off to a good start. In their last game, they beat the Broncos, even though the Broncos are considered the better team, with a 22-17-1 overall record. Despite the record, the Jets won 16-9, and it was a close game. The Jets also have beaten 4 great teams in the NFL Dolphins, Packers, Browns, and Steelers, and out of one of these wins they blew out the Dolphins beating them 40- 17. The Jets haven't had a successful start to a season like this since 2015, when they started their season 4-1 in the first 5 games. It’s something similar that’s happening right now with them being 5-2 in the first 7 games. But it feels like this year is something different for the jets with all the talent they drafted in the previous drafts and the free agents they added to their team last year. So are the Jets on the right track? Could they make the playoffs?

Can the Jets make their way into the playoffs? With it being only the beginning of the season we don’t wanna get ahead of ourselves but could the Jets make it to the playoffs this year? The jets haven’t made it to the playoffs since 2010 under head coach Rex Ryan and they started in the playoffs good with them beating the Indianapolis Colts, and New England Patriots in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the playoffs, but came up short of the steelers in the AFC championship game losing 24-19. The jets also played the steelers this year beating them 24-20, with the steelers being 2-5 so far this year, I don’t think the jets would have to worry about getting kicked out of the playoffs by them again at least not this year and being inches from a super bowl again. So could the jets fall through and make it to the playoffs because nothing is guaranteed and they have 10 more games left? So let’s see what the Jets can do the rest of these games because so far they're on the right track!
