New soccer field ruined!

By Ross Williamson

Sept. 20, 2022

2020 marked a turning point for the Waynesboro Little Giants Soccer Team. After many games on the losing end and a disappointing season, The Little Giants decided to try to turn the team around. Starting with a new soccer field! The soccer field took almost two years to complete because of delayed work due to Covid as well as unfortunate weather. The grass eventually grew and was cut to the perfect length. However, when football season started the field began to get trampled from their practices. Many Varsity and JV soccer players are angry about them practicing on the soccer field when they have their own field. As a result of this there are divots all over the field that could jeopardize the home field for the Waynesboro Soccer team.
