Meet Haley!

Haley Sheffield, one of the newer members of the Waynesboro Highschool Journalism

Staff, will be sure to make a difference. This talented senior took on this rigorous course to

enhance her writing skills. Writing is something Haley enjoys and excels at. Along with her love

for writing she also loves serving her community. She is balancing 4 different clubs including

FCCLA, Honors Council, NHS, and Pep Club. Haley states that her favorite is NHS because of

the extensive amount of community work that is required. She also participates in Swim and is

planning on joining outdoor track this year as well.

Even though her plate is full, she still finds time to work at Walmart and as a swim coach.

Even though it doesn't seem as though she would have any, in her freetime she goes to the

gym, drives around, and spends time with her family. Haley wants to go into Criminal Justice

once out of highschool and her plan is to go to Blue ridge Community College. Haley is an all

around amazing student and the WHS Journalism department is lucky to have her.
