Meet Alison!

Alison Garcia Portillo is a junior at Waynesboro high school, she’ll graduate in 2024’ She wants to go to Cosmetology school in Richmond to study hair and make-up. Alison is taking History, Biology, Journalism, and Drivers Ed this semester. Alison is originally from Elizabeth, New Jersey she grew up in NJ until she turned twelve and moved here to Waynesboro. She loves to travel, she’s been out of the county to El Salvador! After graduation she wants to stay here in Virginia. Alison is very independent and has been working since she was fourteen, She is currently working at the Golden Corral here in Waynesboro! On her free time she likes to spend time with her cat, Winnie. She also likes to spend time with her friends and family! One of Alison’s favorite things to do is going on late night drives with her friends.
