Peyton is a senior here at WHS and is in Journalism 5. Peyton started taking Journalism 1 when her 8th grade English teacher recommended her to take it when she goes to high school. She enjoys writing news articles and sports stories. She's been at Chick-fil-A for six months, and loves it. When Peyton is not doing school work or working at her job, she likes to be on her phone. She also likes to journal, and watch anime. Her favorite anime shows are "Food Wars!" and "Haikyu!!". You can also catch her doing school work. She considers herself a big nerd and is always on top of her school work. In the winter and summer time, Peyton loves to swim. She is involved in the High School Swim Team, and has been involved in the Piranhas Swim Team since 2014. Her favorite swim event is the 100 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. If you ever need help with school work or learning to swim, she's your girl. After High School, she plans on going to a university and major in Journalism. This is Peyton's last time taking Journalism at WHS, but that doesn't stop her with what she loves. She will be doing a mentorship with the News Virginian!
