The original Boxkite (or Bristol Biplane) was built by the British and Colonial Aeroplane Company, which later became the Bristol Aeroplane Company, and first flew in July 1910. It was used as a training aircraft.
G-ASPP is a replica that was built for for the 1965 film 'Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines'.
It is part of the Shuttleworth Collection based at Old Warden, Bedfordshire and can be seen displaying at evening airshows if the weather conditions are suitable.
