Alongside the Spitfire, the Hurricane was the most famous British fighter of WW2.
P3717 briefly took part in the Battle of Britain in 1940 but was badly damaged. It was repaired by Hawker and moved to Russia.
In the 1990s, P3717 was recovered from Russia and began a lengthy restoration. It was eventually restored to flying condition.
