The Pup was a single-seat fighter which first flew in February 1916. It served with the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Naval Air Service.
G-EBKY was originally a Sopwith Dove (a two-seat development of the Pup) built in 1919. In 1938 it was converted into a single-seat Pup.
G-EBKY is part of the Shuttleworth Collection based at Old Warden, Bedfordshire. It is shown here wearing the markings of 9917 as it looked when serving on board the seaplane carrier HMS Manxman.
