D1851 is a reproduction that represents a late model Camel. It was built by the Northern Aeroplane Workshops, Yorkshire.
The Camel gets its name because of the 'humped' appearance of the fuselage just behind the pilot.
It is part of the Shuttleworth Collection based at Old Warden, Bedfordshire and is regularly seen displaying at their airshows.
G-BZSC wears the markings of D1851 'Ikanopit' of 70 Sqn, RAF.
