The Scout first flew in February 1914. It was originally designed as a racing aircraft, but was subsequently used as a single-seat reconnaissance aircraft in WW1. It was also briefly used as a fighter.
G-FDHB is a reproduction using several original parts. It was built by David and Richard Bremner, who are grandchildren of the original pilot of 1264.
It wears the markings of 1264, which was one of the first Scout Model C aircraft used by the Royal Naval Air Service.
G-FDHB can often be seen flying at Old Warden airshows.
