The M1C was a WW1 monoplane fighter which first flew in July 1916.
G-BWJM is a reproduction aircraft built by the Northern Aircraft Workshops and first flew in 2000. It is now part of the Shuttleworth Collection based at Old Warden, Bedfordshire, and can regularly be seen at Old Warden airshows.
G-BWJM is shown wearing the markings of C4918 of 72 Sqn, RAF.
